Hermes Aerospace Corp., a new company created by Alliance LP Drones, is committed to pioneering the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for large-scale projects. These UAVs could be used for cost-effective mobile and internet coverage, especially in remote and impoverished regions, military, civil and commercial surveillance, weather monitoring, and more. Unlike commercial airlines, these UAVs will operate at high altitudes and use modern solar technology to remain in flight for extended periods of time without needing to refuel, only landing for repairs or to install new equipment or payloads. The Hermes ATMOSAT UAV Project is at the cutting edge of using UAVs to replace existing satellite technology and to explore new possibilities in the satellite technology market.
